The Shiny Professional Stuff

I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist and owner of InnerBloom Therapy Services. I have a background in psychology, trauma and relational dynamics.

I am trained in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) and this is my bread and butter. It is a vital tool for healing that allows us to access the subconscious to reprocess “stuck” traumas — making them neutral. This can be used both individually and within an attachment (couples) framework.

I have advanced training in Emotionally Focused Couples therapy which dives into the negative interaction cycle between couples that is driven by unmet (often unknown) attachment needs causing disconnection.

I am IFS informed (Internal Family Systems) which can help you understand different parts of you that may be in conflict and wind up keeping you stuck in the same patterns.

I have two Master’s degrees in both Psychology and Marriage and Family Therapy and have served the mental health community for 16 years.

I host a podcast called Feel and Find Out where I dive into the world of emotional health, to bring you education and connection to your self and others.

Outside of the Therapy Room

The messy personal stuff is that I have experienced the power of therapy firsthand throughout my adult life, where I found support in my struggle with relationships, high-conflict co-parenting, anxiety, depression and low self worth.

I am passionate about emotional health because even when we don’t realize it, emotions are big drivers for our behaviors and beliefs. When we learn to understand and regulate them , MASSIVE shifts can happen; trust me, I’ve experienced it. I am a certified sound practitioner and yoga instructor because I believe in multiple healing modalities.

I am a single mom of 2 boys, a toddler and a teenager who were born 10 years apart. I am no stranger to the emotional depths of parenting and attachment and have a soft spot for working with single parents and couples who are doing their best to blend families

I absolutely love reading and you’ll find my nose in a thriller in my free time. I have a senior rescue terrier Luna and an Australian labradoodle puppy Nova and I fight the urge daily to adopt a cat.

I am originally from NJ and you will often see my east coast Italian part emerge. I have been in AZ since 2010 and spent my elementary and middle school years here as well… though I am terrified of hiking.

I am a life long student and will continue to figure out this thing called being a human for all of my days while helping others do the same.

“My goal in the therapy room is to create a safe space and alliance for my clients to feel and heal.

I believe that it is possible to not only become, but to unbecome what you perceive yourself to be. I also believe there is great value in humor, and connect with my clients on a deep level.”
